Sadly yes, I was planning on drawing a parallel with what ‘True Grit’ did in 2010. Another western remake, but with a way better handling of the lead female as opposed this movie where she had to resort to wearing off shoulder and looking grim. Even the villain could’ve been promising but the character establishment in this movie was quite cluttered.
